More than trophies and titles, a Central College education changes lives. Facilities can enhance Central’s ability to attract students and, ultimately, to serve them.

For over 40 years, Central has boasted some of the finest facilities in D-III athletics. However, many competitors are making major athletics facilities upgrades. To keep pace, Central must upgrade its present facilities and maintain them for the future.

Each athletic facility requires regular maintenance to keep in the best shape both structurally and aesthetically, to ensure the safety and enjoyments of its users, and to avoid costly repairs. Facility maintenance and refurbishment account for a significant portion of the college’s annual budget.

To defray some of these expenses, the college aims to establish a Forever Dutch Endowment Fund. Donated funds will be permanently invested, with only a portion of the earnings being spent on an annual basis. This will make it possible for Central to maintain the quality of its athletic programs while keeping the facilities functional and beautiful for future generations of the Dutch.

In addition to receiving current Forever Dutch gifts, the college welcomes bequests and other types of deferred gifts designated for the Forever Dutch Endowment Fund. To discuss the possibilities, contact Doyle Monsma ’83, major gifts officer at 641-628-5181 or monsmad@central.edu.
